Manjiri believes that her dance form can truly be served, only by ensuring its propagation to the young & aspiring students of Kathak and hence, she has established an institution in the memory of her Guru Dr. Rohini Bhate. The name of her institution is "Aarohini Kathak Dance Academy". Aspirants, both local and foreign, are regularly trained at her academy. Academy also conducts workshops, seminars and conferences, not only for its students but also for interested audience.

Her students regularly perform at various stages, invited by several cultural organizations. They have also been awarded by national scholarships of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, in the field of Kathak dance. They also participate in various competitions, winning these, quite frequently. The performances of these students are appreciated by the audience and media alike.

Mnajiri also teaches at Department of Music & Dance, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Prior to that, she was HOD, Department of Dance, IIS Univeristy, Jaipur and "Nritya Guru" at Jaipur Kathak Kendra - an autonomous institution established by Govt. of Rajasthan.

Aarohini Kathak Dance Academy

The Academy was established in the year 2008 for the cause of Indian Classical Dance & Music and is managed by a duly registered Society, incorporated under the Societies Registration Act of state of Rajasthan & Union of India. The academy is involved in training young aspirants, organizing competitions, ballets & stage performances, in the field of Kathak.

The Academy is involved in variety of activities and has also achieved several distinctions, a few are enumerated below:

Academy trains over 75 students in dance form of Kathak, at any given point of time
The students of the Academy participate and win several competitions, organized by schools and other cultural bodies .
Academy students are selected for the "National Scholarship for the Young Artists", by Ministry of Culture.
The Academy also conducts and participates in various dance festivals, Seminars, Workshops etc., within Jaipur and outside.
